Pilot terms

Plain terms for the free 14-day pilot and for Pro Agency if you continue. By starting a pilot you agree to them.

What the pilot includes

  • Monitoring of up to 3 endpoints you choose, for 14 days from the day we send your first test alert.
  • A check of each endpoint every 5 minutes from outside your systems. A failed check is re-checked 20 seconds later.
  • An incident card in your Telegram group or Slack channel after two consecutive failed checks, and a recovery card when it's healthy again.
  • It's free. We don't ask for a card.

What Cronus is not

  • It's not an uptime guarantee or an SLA. Cronus tells you when something looks broken; fixing it stays with you and your client.
  • Checks run on third-party infrastructure (GitHub Actions and Cloudflare). Occasionally a check can run late or be missed. If our own monitor stops, we work to restore it as quickly as we can.
  • A check confirms that a URL answered with an expected status code in time. It doesn't test what happens inside your application.

What we access and keep

  • Only the URLs you send us, called the way a normal visitor would. No logins, no store or server access, no code to install.
  • We keep the URLs, the names you give them, your alert channel ID, and the result of each check (status code, response time, time of check).
  • We don't sell or share this with anyone. Public run logs never show your URLs or names.
  • When monitoring ends, we delete your endpoints from our configuration the same day.

Day 14

  • Around day 12 we send a summary of what the pilot checked and caught.
  • If you want to continue, you move to Pro Agency: $99 a month for up to 25 endpoints, paid monthly through Stripe.
  • If you don't reply or decide not to continue, monitoring stops on day 14. A pilot never turns into a paid plan on its own.

Pro Agency, cancelling and refunds

  • Cancel any time by email. Monitoring continues to the end of the month you've paid for, then stops. We don't charge again.
  • If Cronus was down for a meaningful part of your month through our fault, tell us and we'll credit that month.

Liability

Cronus is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost revenue, lost orders or other losses from an outage we missed, alerted late, or alerted about. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the month before the issue, which is $0 during the pilot.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, we'll email active clients before the change applies. Questions, cancellations or anything else: cronussignals@gmail.com.
